‘Grease’ Actor Eddie Deezen Found Not Competent to Stand Trial
Eddie Deezen is reportedly unable to stand trial on burglary, according to TMZ.
In a commitment order obtained by the outlet, it states that the 65-year-old actor is undergoing treatment at the Maryland Department of Health, and will not be able to stand trial in his burglary and trespassing case due to a mental-health disorder.
Best known for his role in Grease, Eddie was charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace after trespassing at a nursing home in April.
The order also states that Eddie is considered dangerous and poses a threat to himself and those around him.
At this time, Eddie will remain at the Maryland Department of Health until that is no longer the case, the order states.
In addition to starring in both Grease films, Eddie is also known for his work on The Polar Express.
Last year, Eddie also found himself accused of harassment.
